Boy's Life; A Mystery

Summer reading was always a pain, not that I don't like books, I love them, but this one was NOT my cup of tea. It's about a boy and one summer that was very strange. Others believe that this book is marvelous, reeling them in, but for me, I did not like this book. I felt like I couldn't connect with the book, not because I am a girl, but because it felt forced on me. The readings in school feel on a spectrum of love and hate, ranging vastly. This one is one of a few that fall on the more of the hate side of the spectrum. I felt like the way that the author was describing everything was too much, and this is from someone who read the Hobbit and Inheritance books. Honestly, I may read this book now and love it, but my memories of this book are not good.
