Maze Runner; Not like the movie...
So I hate myself as a reader. I watched the movie first, for this and its sequel, Scorch Trials. I had the premise of what the book was about because of my friend Elana, but when I was reading it, I kept getting images from the movie in my head. The book is not like the movie, it is like most cases, better. I think the book is better because it does not have a slight focus on the 'relationship' between Thomas and Theresa, but the whole group of gladers and their struggle to get out of the maze. What got me from the movie to book, was that they mentioned that Alby was the first one to enter the maze, and that he was alone, but in the book it was about 30 boys all together at one time. I understand that some things have to be left out from the adaptation, but a lot of key plot points are missing, and I recommend reading the book, even just as a comparison to the movie.
