PS I Love You; As warm as fresh baked Snickerdoodles
I started reading this book because a friend that is in love with romance books recommended it to me. The thing is that I am not the person that usually likes romance books, I love fantasy adventure stories better than romance. But, I watched the Netflix movie of the first book. I will say that reading this book series was actually enjoyable.
I will be talking about the sequel of To All the Boys I've Ever Loved, P.S. I Love You. Lara Jean (LJ) is together with Peter for real this time, and things seem good in her world. She's ready to apply to UVA (boo, go Hokies) and ready to explore her new relationship. Her ex-friend Gen is always present in her relationship and she seems to take Peter's attention and affection away from LJ. This isn't the only other player in their relationship. One of her letters was never retrieved, and it was thought to be lost. That was not the case, that one letter did get to the guy that it was made for, and he comes back.
Personally, I think that John (final letter) and Lara Jean would be cute, especially with everything that is happening with Gen. Peter and Lara Jean don't seem to click the same way on paper, and it almost seems like she becomes more herself when she is not with him. I will say that I find the romance extremely adorable, and I found things about Lara Jean that I have in common; grant I never had my happy ending from a latter. I will say that this is a wonderful read if you are into Teen Romance, or just in the mood for a Hallmark style romance novel.
